The position of Mayor is responsible for the operations of the Police Department with the Chief of Police reporting directly to the Mayor. The Mayor serves as the Borough representative to ceremonial functions as required.

Ralph has lived in Ephrata for over 40 years. He loves being part of this community and wants to be a proactive part of the Borough. Ralph's main concern is to ensure adequate law enforcement coverage. Ralph believes the residents of the Borough deserve to continue to live in safety and be able to walk the streets without fear, as they have always done. Ralph believes the Borough of Ephrata is a great place to live and it is his goal to keep it that way.
